Pops was getting restless. He was tired of spending all day writing stories. He wanted to go out and play with the world.
He is sporting his 4Ocean.com necklace that helped to clean up the sea, and he is excited because he got his new Global Goals soccer ball in the mail. He couldn't wait to find someone with a pump. He wanted to know if there was anyone else in the world who wanted to play. He was determined to find others who want to play, even if it was one person at a time. As Pops wrote his stories, he played his music gently in the background. He listened to the song "Stones" by Neil Diamond and thought of Kma. He remembered hearing Stones when he was young many moons before he ever met Kma. He wanted to be there with his best friend to "let the sun in." Pops felt it was time for the harvest, for celebration, and a time for peace. He hopes Neil can be there too. He wanted to tell Neil that his seeds of inspiration helped when he was growing up. Pops wished that no one would ever have to go to sleep with stones on their mind. (soccer ball found at https://shop.undp.org/products/sdg-soccer-ball) |
