It was Kma's turn to choose the next Storytellers. Last night before going to sleep, Pops and Kma looked at two videos together by Vishen Lakhiani, the creator of Mindvalley. Pops liked both videos. In one, Vishen was discussing the poem by Khalil Gibran. It was a favorite poem of Pops. Pops included it in the back of one book he wrote. In the other video, Vishen discussed how people are moving from an "Ego" to a "World Consciousness." Pops agreed. Pops thought if Kma doesn't use Vishen on one of her days, then he would spotlight his storytelling on one of his.
In the morning Kma and Pops looked at a few more videos. Kma liked the song, "Let there be Peace on Earth, and let it begin with me..." She was inspired by the creators of this song as she also believed that peace first has to be felt in one's heart. They also watched the "I Dreamed a Dream" performance by Susan Boyle on Britan's Got Talent. It was Kma's dream many years ago to launch a business called "Conscious Earth," inspired by the song "Let there Be Peace on Earth." She made hand-painted t-shirts with simple messages reminding people that people that peace always begins within. Pops had also referenced the Susan Boyle's video in their first book, "Emails from the Leading Edge." He said there will be no more tigers. He meant that he and Kma would live out their dream together, no matter what. They also watched a couple videos of Roger Hamilton and both agreed it was time to introduce his Storytelling, especially since he was going to be leading best business practices for 6 months starting June 10th, 2019. Pops and Kma had traveled to China and Japan with Roger and they liked all that he was doing at GeniusU.com. At a conference Kma had attended with Roger in South Africa, she was prompted to share her reason for getting out of bed each morning. Kma, in her lovely sing song voice to the tune of "This Little Light of Mine," sang in front of an audience full of business owners who wanted to make a an impact on the planet. "I get up every day to shine in my own way so that every where I go I'm always in my flow so that every choice I make leaves increase in its wake and the world because of me is a better place" The song was well received and brought such excitement to Paul Dunn, also an enlightened business owner and humanitarian. He wanted to film Kma presenting the song so he could post it on the website of his business, B1G1.com. Kma, a bit camera shy, never presented it for Mr. Dunn. She did manage to eventually practice and film the song with some of the children of the Islamic school where Pops' worked. The Muslim children and their parents also wanted the world to be a better place, "because of me." It was a time for change, a time for peace. They wondered what other storytellers where out there making the world a better place, and most importantly, which storytellers had found peace first in their own hearts. They couldn't wait to hear the voices of children, teachers, parents, and business owners singing this song together and they would be there singing along, all around the world. It was their dream. |
