“Good Morning Sweetie,” The Principal of Peace wrote as he had done for so many moons before. He had to start over this morning. He didn’t like his first poem, but was excited about his second. It goes like this:
Roses are red The sky is blue If the cloud were candy I would pick some for you Just that which is sweet And never depletes Of hope, praise, and appreciation Of awesome adventure, and collaboration Of love and of heroes With Ones And with Zeros And of Finally The Family “How do you like that?” Pops always liked to know the reaction of Kma. He wanted her to feel light and easy the way she had designed her life. He wanted to feel her smile or hear her laugh. He never wanted her to worry about anything and he didn’t want to worry about anything either. Perhaps they could hire a professional worrier for them, someone who they could pay to worry about the problems of the world. “Anything?” he would say when he tried to say something funny. The best moments were when he would glance over at her after trying some ‘new material’ like Jerry Seinfeld and he could see she was trying to hold in the laughter. “Why did the lady go to the zoo to buy a bra?” He said. “ Because she wanted a ZeeeeBra.” He would wait just a little bit, till he knew the time was right and then he would say, “Anything?” That would often get laughter too or just force it out. They were driving by a doctors office one time and in front of it was a sign that read, “Free Vein check.” Kma read it out loud. On hearing it, Pops played with the words quickly in his mind and then said “Well, that’s easy, all you have to do is record the number of minutes you look in the mirror.” Pops waited a few seconds, glanced at her and said ‘Anything?’ and they laughed together. Pops continued writing, “Meditation was great this morning. I saw how to tie the hero’s journey to the 12 remaining Earth rotations and the World A-Game. WAG1, will be called, the “Call to Adventure,” and WAG12 will be “Status Quo.” I saw the importance of relationship. For now, I see it’s important to consider each person as a brother or sister, and some brothers and sisters have special status like Mother, birth sister, and grandfather. It’s about understanding how to live in both dimensions simultaneously and heading towards unity. I see we need to do a simple business plan. I will take care of that. I also saw how we need to keep our focus on the 99%. We will have people, true public servants, to take care of the 1%. The majority of families will take care of themselves. They will be in the majority.” “Kimberly,” Pops wrote,” If I were president, I would give attention to all the Master Storytellers. It would be an unending story. I would take you, as my Queen, with me and perhaps we would visit a school together. Perhaps for a couple weeks, we could learn about Quality Education and what they are learning. It would be our turn to listen.” It would be our turn to give attention so that others could take over when we leave our short visit. Btw, I was inspired by the pages of the Dalai Lama you read to me yesterday. He is my new Superhero. When I am 82, I want to be like him - full of Love, Wisdom, Understanding, Peace and a good sense of humor. Peace out Pops" Pops wrote down some of the Dalai Lama’s quotes: “I have a dream: Women will become national leaders. Our mother plays a crucial role in our childhood: this is true for all seven billion of us living on this planet. As you know, you would not have survived without your mother’s love. Such is the law of nature.” “Youth of the world. You are the citizens of tomorrow’s world. I am convinced that through your spirit you will be able to bring about global peace and fraternity, the greatest aspiration of the human heart. “It is up to you, my young friends to write the next chapter of our history.” “You can play a part in promoting democratic values and basic freedoms” “Young friends, you are my hope for humanity.” “Yet it is precisely in these (Germany and France) formerly warring nations that the desire for peace has won out against hawkish patriotism.” “Other political leader have carried on their work, based on the principle of dialogue, in order to heal the wounds of so many people caught in the crossfire of conflicts all around the world.” “I urge you to consider how you can be involved in increasing the ‘spirit of union’ worldwide.” “….As digial natives, you were born world citizens, for digital culture has no borders. Is it no the case that in your minds young people from all over the world are your friends, companions, and partners, rather than your competitors, rivals, and enemies.” Pops was finishing his writing late today. He usually tries to publish before noon. He had been waiting for Kma to send some pictures of the pages she read to him yesterday of the Dali Lama’s book called, “A Call for Revolution.” He got up to look out of his Tower. Yesterday a warm blustery rain washed away all the snow that had turned to hard ice and was dirty. He thought of heard the songs “Frozen” by Messer and Blue Skies by Lenka. What will it be that will wash away our seemingly frozen past and warm our hearts? Pops made another call to all his brothers and sisters around planet Earth. “Are you ready?” Then what happens? |
