Pops and Kma had another two hour phone conversation. Pops had read chapter 4 of "Lifting the Veil of Duality" by Andreas Moritz during his morning meditation and when Kma called, he was excited to tell her about it. Feeling his excitement, she asked him, "You still high?" He went on to elaborate what resonated with the chapter and read all the quotes he had written down. Kma suggested, "How about if we read it together?" and they did. Pops put on his gloves, beanie, and jacket he calls "Puff" so he could walk around Boston while she read. There was a light dusting of snow during the night; it was cold, but the sun was out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The air was crisp. Pops felt like he was walking around the garden of Eden. As Kma read, Pops listened and they were together. They especially liked the quote by anonymous:
"I asked God to take away my pain. God said, No It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up. I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. Her spirit is whole her body is only temporary I asked God to grant me patience. Go said, No Patience is a byproduct of tribulation; it isn't granted, it is learned. I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings Happiness is up to you. I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me. I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things I asked God to help me Love others as much as he loves me. God said...Ahhhh, finally you get the idea During Kma's meditation, she came across the song "Hall of Fame" by The Script. It reminded Pops of what he wanted to call all their books, from WAG1 to WAG12. It was like the hall of fame, but he would call it, all of them bound in one collection, "The Book of Love." The problem Pops had was that he was making The Call to Adventure. He didn't know how to make people listen to the call. What he discovered was that he didn't have to make people listen. He only wanted readers who were attracted to the future reality film story that he and Kma were creating. He was coming to a fork in node. He had to make a decision. He decided to pour himself a glass of wine, sit down on his comfortable bead in his Tower room and read "Harold and the Purple Crayon" for inspiration. When he got to the part where Harold was falling off the mountain into thin air, he put the book down and texted Kma: When you get to your grandsons hour and find the book, 'What to do with an Idea,' please call and read it to me." Welcome to the The Family and the Book of Love Adreas and The Script. |
